Michael Igbinedion, younger brother of former Edo state
governor, Lucky Igbinedion was today sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for
charges bothering on money laundering. Michael, alongside one Mr Patrick
Eboigbodin, an aide to former Governor Lucky Igbinedion were dragged before a
federal high court in Benin city on an 81 count charge bordering on money
laundering said to be carried out while Lucky Igbinedion was still governor of
Edo state.

Igbinedion Convicted Of Money Laundering
Michael Igbinedion, the younger brother of Lucky Igbinedion,
a former governor of Edo state, was today, 29th of April, convicted by a
Federal High Court in Benin in a N25 billion money laundering case instituted
against him and five others by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC.

April 29th dissolved a three-year-old marriage between Mr Femi Olayiwole and
wife, Kemi, due to the absence of vagina, deceit and frequent fighting.
Olayiwole told the court that his wife deceived him to marry her knowing that
she could not bear him a child. He accused his wife, who had failed to appear
in court after being summoned several times, of living a false life, frequent
fighting and threatening his life.
