Former 'world's fattest man' set for operation to remove SEVEN STONE of loose skin


   A man once dubbed 'the fattest man in the world' is set to travel to the States to have seven stone of excess skin removed.Paul Mason, 54, from Ipswich, Suffolk, is preparing for the operation in America after failing to get it on the NHS.

NDLEA Arrests Kenyan Dancer in Possession of Drugs at MMIA


  The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), said on Tuesday that it had arrested a 42-year-old Kenyan female dancer with cocaine weighing 5.345kg at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.

   The Chairperson House Committee on Diaspora matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa said their are more Nigerians waiting to be executed in Indonesia. Speaking on Channels TV News at 10 last night, Hon Abike said a federal government delegation in which she was part of in 2008 visited Indonesia and found there were 21 Nigerians who were on death row in Indonesia for drug related offenses. She said nothing can be done as its the law in Indonesia. She said every 5m you walk, a sign is displayed saying the penalty for drug trafficking is death

Teenager abducts, rapes two-year-old girl


  A two-year-old toddler, Precious (pseudonym) has been raped by one Azeez Ganiyu, after she was abducted from her residence on Giwa Street, Ijora Badia, Lagos State.The incident happened on April 16 at about 10am after the victim’s mother left her in a room with a neighbour to buy food at a nearby shop.

Jonathan, Sambo, others to get N3.24bn severance pay



  PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, Vice-president Namadi Sambo, non-returning federal lawmakers, ministers and   presidential aides will collect N3.24bn as severance allowances.The severance allowances   are contained in the Remuneration Package   put together by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission.

Buhari bars AIT from covering his activities

200 Girls, 93 Women Rescued From Sambisa Forest




  The Nigerian troops have reportedly stormed the Sambisa Forest and rescued about 300 women and girls. Three major terrorists camps have been destroyed in the well-coordinated attacks that included the destruction of the notorious Tokumbere camp in the Sambisa Forest.
