Bra-Wearing Man Arrested For Blocking Customers From ATM In Florida

                                                    You don’t see this everyday.Lol
Police in Florida encountered a man wearing a jacket and brassiere, and riding a bicycle in front of a bank branch that prevented customers from using the ATM.
Fort Pierce police asked Gregory Herndon to empty his pockets and, though it got him into trouble, the 33-year-old allegedly agreed.
Out came a pair of women’s undergarments, a crack pipe, two needles for drug use, a pill bottle and brass wool, according to Off the Beat, which recently obtained the Nov. 3 arrest affidavit.
Records from the St. Lucie County sheriff’s office says Herndon faces charges of possession of drug equipment and resisting an officer without violence. Bond was set at $15,500.

Herndon has landed in jail previously for allegedly manufacturing meth in his home and attempting to flee from cops during an ill-fated cocaine purchase.

Toddler Falls From Third Story Window During Diaper Change

A toddler was flown to the hospital after falling from a third-floor window in Viera.
Brevard County Fire Rescue District Chief Scott Jurgensen said the incident occurred at the Highlands Apartments near the county's government center Sunday afternoon.
He said the girl fell from a window around 1:15 p.m. and landed in bushes. She was described initially as stable, with possible serious injuries.
However, after she was checked and treated at Arnold Palmer Hospital, the Sheriff's Office said the girl did not have any fractures.

Man writes Oyedepo after Winners’ pastor snatches his wife

Blessing and her ex-husband Okpoko

A jilted husband, Ifeanyi Kenneth Okpoko has written a petition to Bishop David Oyedepo, founder and general overseer, Winners Chapel asking him to tell one of his pastors, Kelvin Ugwuoke to leave his wife alone.
In a letter dated 14 November 2014 titled: ‘Case of Adultery, Snatching Of My Wife And Secret Marriage Engagement’, an embittered Okpoko alleged that Ugwuoke snatched his banker wife, Blessing Ifeanyi Okpoko and went secretly to Dubai and engaged her in marriage. He said he legally married Blessing according to the marriage act and when he later discovered she had a secret marriage arrangement, he confronted her with some photographs while Blessing was still living with him. This however prompted her to move to Ugwuoke’s purported house at Prime Water View Estate, Flat 8 at Lekki.
He said Blessing also filed a suit at Lagos High court seeking for the dissolution of the marriage to cover up.
In the letter, he noted that Blessing and Kelvin were fighting him with their connection in the Nigeria police, adding that, he was to prison in a bid to stop him from taking over their joint property.
He stated that both Ugwuoke and Blessing are devoted ministers in Winners church, noting that, before she left his house, she was the pastor-in-charge of House Fellowship in his house at Ajao estate.Okpoko stated in the letter that the duo were lovers in Kano before Ugwuoke dumped her to marry several other women with many children and she married him.
Okpoko stated that his marriage broke up in April 2014 when Blessing who is an Area Manager in one of Nigeria’s leading banks, UBA informed him that she was going to Dubai on official duty.He explained that Kelvin who is the Risk Manger in a new generation bank joined her in Dubai where they formalised their relationship.
He said when she returned, her behaviour totally changed, picking quarrels unnecessarily until the information and photographs of the marriage got to him.
He told Bishop Oyedepo that Kelvin took his wife and children which has left him in mental and psychological trauma.
“Sir I have been subjected to mental and psychological trauma which can led to untimely death, ironically, they are ministers in your church which calls for your intervention” he stated.
He also attached photographs of pictures taken by Kelvin and Blessing both here in Nigeria and Dubai.Pics of the current husband

Chief FFK discharged and acquitted of money laundering

Reprieve partially came the way of former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode this morning as a federal High Court sitting in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria discharged and acquitted him of thirty-eight count charge of money laundering out of forty count charge filed against him, while the court ordered him to enter his defence in the remaining two counts.
In her ruling, the presiding judge, Rita Ofili Ajumogobia said in considering the issue of no case submission as filed by the defence counsel, certain laid down principles needed to be considered, such as the following. Has the prosecution led any evidence to link the accused person to the commission of the offence? Is the evidence adduced by the prosecution so credible to sway the court to compel the accused person to enter his defence and is the evidence so adduced make meaning and sense to any discerning minds?
Justice Ajumogobia, while appraising the submission of the prosecution and the defence said the prosecution has failed woefully to prove beyond reasonable doubt the offences in thirty-eight. Counts accordingly discharged and acquitted the former minister on this charges while the former minister was ordered to enter his defence in counts twenty-five and twenty-six.
The court said the prosecution has led evidence to show the ingredient of the offence which will necessitate the minister to enter his defence.
After the ruling, Dr Abiodun Layonu, leading two other lawyers Tola Oshobi, T. Adigun for the defence urged the court to give them short adjournment consequently, the case was adjourned till 8 December, when Fani-Kayode is expected to open his defence on those two counts.
Fani-Kayode, is standing trial on an amended 40 count charge, bordering on the alleged offences of transacting business without going through financial institution and has been prosecuted by the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC).
Last Monday, Fani-Kayode’s lawyer, Mr. Ifedayo Adedipe (SAN), made a no case submission on behalf of the former minister. He added that he had also filed a reply on points of law, in response to the issues raised by the prosecution in their processes.
Adedipe while adopting his submission urged the court to discharge the former minister of all 40 counts, on the grounds that no case has been made out against him, to warrant him to enter a defence.
He stated that the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges against him before this court, and by so doing, he has joined issues with the prosecution, leaving them to prove their case beyond doubt.
The prosecution called six witnesses, and of all these witnesses, none of them came forward to give any evidence that they had any financial transaction with the accused.
”Pw3 (a Superintendent of Police) told the court that nobody came forward to say that he gave any cash to the accused.
”Pw5, (former aide to accused) gave evidence that it was one Kolade who gave him the money he lodged into the account of the minister and this does not prove anything against the accused.”
Adedipe also argued that even though the statement of account of the accused was put in evidence for which he was required by the prosecution to make explanations, such statement was not prima facie evidence of crime.
Citing the authority of Abacha vs the State, Adedipe stressed that by the decision of the Supreme Court, such statement of account could only amount to mere susspicion which no matter how well placed, did not constitute a prima facie case.
”If an individual receives several sums of money from different sources, he is expected to lodge same, and so, the fact that certain amounts are found in his account, does not amount to an offence.
”I therefore, respectfully urge this court to discharge the accused of all counts in the charge.
In response, the EFCC prosecutor, Mr. Festus Keyamo, urged the court to uphold his written submissions in opposition to the no case submission, and call on the accused to enter his defence.
”Without wasting the time of this court, I will only correct one notion, and that is that the prosecution’s case does not concern lodgement, but transactions which took place before the lodgement.Transactions which were done without going through financial institutions, is what comes under the definition of money laundering,” he said
Keyamo therefore, urged the court to uphold the objection of prosecution and call on the accused to enter his defence.
‪                After listening to the submissions both counsels, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia adjourned the case till today for ruling.
The former Minister of Aviation was first arraigned sometime in December 2008 before Justice Ramat Mohammed on a 47-count charge. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail in the sum of N200 million with two sureties in like sum.
He was re-arraigned before Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako, following the transfer of Mohammed from Lagos Division.
The minister was again re-arraigned before Justice Ajumogobia on February 11 2013, after the transfer of Murtala-Nyako and re-arraigned again before Ajumogobia on March 6, following the amendment of the 47-count charge to 40-counts, the EFCC having dropped seven of the counts.
‪In the charge, the accused was also alleged to have accepted various cash payments above N500,000 without going through financial institution while he held sway as Minister of Aviation and Minister of Culture and Tourism respectively.
The offence is said to contravene the provisions of Sections 15(1) (a) (b) (c) (d) and 15 (2) (a) (b) of the Money Laundering (prohibition) Act, 2004.Via.PM News

Mob of doctors torture, kill suspected thief in India

A mob of doctors killed a suspected thief at a medical college in India by tying him up and slashing his penis with a razor, in a case of vigilante justice, police said Monday.
Authorities have ordered an inquiry into the attack in the eastern city of Kolkata in which the 30-year-old man was beaten with bamboo sticks and slashed on Sunday, a senior police officer said.Preliminary inquiries have revealed that nearly a dozen junior doctors picked up the man on suspicion of stealing mobile phones,” Kolkata’s deputy police commissioner Dhrubajyoti De said.
They dragged him into a room at the state-run Nilratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital, tied him to a pillar and carried out the attack, before leaving him to die. Some of them even slashed him on his private parts,” De told AFP, adding that labourers working nearby alerted police to the attack.Police found the man lying in a pool of blood. A razor was also seized from the spot,” he said.

Move over Kim K West as James KIng is officially the queen of the internet

Jaime King posted this image onto her Instagram account with the caption, "#HelmutNewtonVibes #noneedtobreaktheinternet."

Jaime King is officially the queen of the Internet — at least until the next time Kim Kardashian undresses for another magazine cover.

On Saturday, the model turned actress posted a racy photo of herself walking through a Hollywood backlot in lingerie that left her toned backside on full view for her 420,000 followers.
The sexy pic came complete with the hashtag, "#noneedtobreaktheinternet," a clear reference to the Kardashian Paper Magazine cover headline that dominated social media days earlier. King, who stars on CW's "Hart of Dixie," captioned the shot with a tip of the cap to the late fashion photographer Helmut Netwton, who died in 2004.

The 35-year-old model turned actress has been working on what she dubbed a "secret project" in a L.A. recording studio for music producer J. Ralph — though it's unclear if the lingerie photo is related King has a tough act to follow. Kardashian's spread for Paper. Via.NYDN

Meet grandmother of ten who stunned her family by marrying a toy boy she met online

Jane Makhloufi, 47, from Leeds, was swept off her feet by 32-year-old Mohamed after meeting him online when her first marriage collapsed, the grandmother-of-ten who stunned her family by marrying a Tunisian toy-boy she met online is begging the Home Office to grant him a visa and has vowed to convert to Islam for him. She said: 'Plenty of people think it is a scam but I know it's not. He has told me many times that he doesn't want to be with any other woman. He only wants to be with me.'People think all Tunisian men are love-rats but they need to get their facts right. There are love-rats all over the world, even in England.
All the men I met in Tunisia with my husband were really nice. If I thought for one minute it was a scam, I wouldn't have married him. I would have just stayed on my own.
'We've been married two years now. If it was a scam he would have left me by now. 'When he comes here I want to convert to Islam and wear a hijab. He hasn't said anything about it. It is my decision. If I want to do it I will do it.'
Mrs Makhloufi met Mohamed, a former coffee shop worker, on a social networking site soon after ending her 'unhappy' marriage of 26 years in 2011.
She said she was instantly attracted to him but was even more impressed by the fact he wasn't 'sleazy' or 'only after one thing'.
After exchanging increasingly flirtatious messages, she took the plunge and flew to the coastal city of Sousse to meet him face-to-face.
The keen knitter said she was nervous at first but was instantly won over by not only his looks but how polite and chivalrous he was.
She said he held doors open in front of her and took her out for exotic meals on the beach.
'He was so different to the men back in England,' she said.
'When I met him he was a proper gentleman. He was clean and respectable. In the end we couldn't keep our hands off each other.'
After 10-15 more trips to Tunisia, she was delighted when Mohamed finally popped the question and she didn't hesitate to accept.
But not everyone was happy with their romance.
'Some of the people in Tunisia didn't like it,' said Mrs Makhloufi, who admits she had only been looking for fun to start with. 'They would say: "Why are you with an English woman, a bigger woman?"And he would just reply: "Because I want to be with an English woman, not a Tunisian woman. The pair were married on October 18, 2012, and Mrs Makhloufi describes it as the happiest day of her life.
The ceremony was vibrant and lavish and the bride wore a traditional North African wedding dress and intricate henna tattoos on her arms while the groom was dressed in a dark suit.
But their joy was short lived when, instead of coming home to live in her second floor Leeds council flat, Mohamed was refused a Visa because his English was poor.
And, even when it vastly improved with his new wife's help, he was again turned away because the UK Border Agency believed she could not support him if he failed to get a job.
As an immigrant he would have to be a resident for two-and-a-half years before he could claim benefits.Instead, Mohammed travelled to Dublin, Ireland, after getting an EU Visa in 'three weeks' and has been there the last four months looking for work.
To survive he cooks and cleans for friends in return for a bed and food. His devoted wife sends him money when she can and even encourages him to pass it on to his family in Tunisia, who she says were always very welcoming.
Mrs Makhloufi, who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis which keeps her out of work, said the stress of the situation is starting to make her illness worse.
She flies to see him in Ireland as many times as she can and when they are apart they speak every night on the phone or over a live video link.
They talk so much that some of her grandchildren, who regularly visit, now jokingly refer to him as their 'second grandad.'
Not all of her family, many of whom are almost the same age as her husband, are happy with the union while others are content to just 'see her happy'.
Mohamed, who was previously worked as a builder in Tunisia, said he hopes to come to the UK and prove his doubters wrong. But most of all he wants to make up for his wife's generosity towards him.
He said: 'She is a good woman with a tender, soft heart. Every time I have been in need she has always been there. She has treated me well, with a lot of respect and always understands me. I've found in her what I never found in others. I hope to build a real life together.I've really suffered being away from her. I've been so stressed day after day and I feel hopeless and lost.
I know some people think it is fake but I'm not bothered what they say. At the end of the day all that matter is that I am with her and she is with me and the others cannot bother us.'
Meanwhile, Mrs Makhloufi said she will continue to fight for her husband's 'right' to come to the UK and live with her.
And, although she sees little hope at present, she is adamant she will not give up without a fight.
'No one should have to leave their husband behind,' she said.

'All I want is for us to have a life together. All I want is for my husband to be here with me. See the letter below.

10 Soldiers killed in Adamawa by Boko Haram insurgents

About 10 Nigerian soldiers were reportedly killed in Gombi and Hong local government areas of Adamawa State late Sunday night, in a gun battle with insurgents.
Reports showed that Boko Haram insurgents had annexed additional two local government areas in their attempt to move to Yola, the capital of Adamawa State.According to  Nigerian tribune the Nigerian troops were battling hard to push away the militants from Gombi and Hong local government areas of the state.
The insurgents were said to be heading to Yola, a hundred kilometre from Gombi, but met resistance from the Nigeria troops, who were trying to push them back.
Some fleeing residents of Gombi, speaking with reporters in Yola, on Sunday, said the insurgents had taken over the entire Gombi Local Government Area of the state.
According to them, a number of Nigerian troops were killed by the insurgents.
A source among the residents said the dreaded group conducted a house-to-house search, killing many residents of Gombi in the process.
Meanwhile, Governor Bala James Ngilari has denied reports that the sect had taken over Hong and Gombi local government areas of the state.
Ngilari, who spoke through his Director of Press and Publicity, Mr.P. P. Elisha, said the insurgents were making efforts to force their way in the said councils, but met resistance from the Nigerian troops.
Elisha, however, said the state government had announced restriction of movement in the two councils, because of the ongoing battle between the Nigeria troops and the Boko Haram sect.

He said the decision was taken after the governor held a meeting with military authorities in Yola.Via.tribune

Military recaptures Chibok from Boko Haram

The Nigerian army said yesterday that it had recaptured the north-eastern town of Chibok, where Boko Haram insurgents abducted more than 200 schoolgirls in April, provoking a wave of global outrage. An elder of Chibok community, Pogu Bitrus however told AFP that Chibok was recaptured in a joint operation with local vigilantes known as the Civilian Joint Task Force. He said the vigilantes fought inside Chibok while the soldiers “stayed outside the town to mop up the insurgents trying to escape”.
Boko Haram fighters who were dislodged last week from Mubi in Adamawa by a combined team of local hunters and the troops fled to Chibok through Mararaba, Mubi and Uba and took over the town when residents on seeing the terrorists fled.
The terrorists had captured the town last Thursday after a battle lasting several hours that left many victims among both the insurgents and the local militias dead.
Several residents said the army had fled from the assault, leaving the vigilantes to fight on their own against Boko Haram.
There was no immediate information about any casualties from Saturday’s battle for the town, which witnesses say was virtually empty of residents.
A statement from Army Headquarters signed by Colonel Timothy Antigha, Chief of Staff, Department of Army Public Relations said, “The Nigerian Army troops recaptured Chibok at about 7pm last (Saturday) night from Boko Haram insurgents. The town is now secured. Exploitation and mop-up operations are ongoing. More details will follow as soon as they are available.”
Vanguard had reported last week that after several days of strategizing, the Nigerian Military, working in collaboration with local hunters, vigilantes and foreign military advisers from Israel commenced a major offensive to retake Mubi, Michika and Madagali towns from Boko Haram terrorists.       via.vanguard

Police arrest herbalist over alleged murder of client in Lagos

The police in Lagos have arrested a cleric, Mr. Isiaka Akanbi, for allegedly killing a 62-year-old woman, Raliatu Kareem.
The police also accused Akanbi of stealing the deceased’s wallet and other personal effects.
According to Punch Metro Akanbi, popularly called Alfa, had a traditional healing centre on Lawani Street, in the Olodi Apapa area of Lagos, who hails from Ilorin, Kwara State, had known Akanbi for about 20 years as she was a close customer of his.
It was gathered that on Saturday, October 25, Kareem, who lived on Ope-Ewe Street, Agbado Ijaiye, Lagos, went to visit an elder sister, Risikatu Raheem, whose daughter put to bed in the Olodi Apapa area.
She was said to have left Ijaiye after the monthly environmental exercise was over, informing her 20-year-old son, Abdullahi, of the visit to her sister.
Kareem reportedly stayed till around 6pm at her sister’s place on Salubi Street before she headed for theAlfa’s place.
Punch correspondent learnt that two days after, Kareem did not return home as she promised. The family became apprehensive and went on her trail to the Olodi Apapa area.
After failing to locate Kareem at the sister’s apartment, some family members, who knew she was a friend of the cleric, decided to check the Alfa’s place but Alfa denied setting eyes on Kareem.
However, the family became suspicious when Akanbi reportedly started packing his property, and preparing to flee the house some hours later.
The family was said to have raised the alarm and headed for the Tolu Police Station to report the incident. The police later came to arrest Akanbi.
During interrogation, 55-year-old Akanbi told the police that he did not kill the woman, adding that she died in his place. Akanbi added that when he realised the woman was dead, he buried her personal effects to erase any trace of her in his house.
He also told the police that he took the corpse to Marine Bridge, abandoning it there.
He said, “On the evening of October 26, it is true that she visited me. We have been very good friends too. On that day, she just collapsed and became unconscious. I quickly rushed her to a nearby hospital, but I was shocked when the nurses told me she had died.
“I got a NAPEP tricycle and took her corpse to the Marine Bridge that same night and abandoned it there. I did not want people to trace her corpse to me. When I got home, I buried her wallet, handset, bangle and ring behind my house.
“I did not kill her. I am an Alfa, I do favour charms for traders. I met Raliatu in 1986. Since then, we have been family friends. She used to come to my place for consultation and I had been to her house too.”
One of Kareem’s children, Abdullahi, said the family wanted Akanbi to produce the corpse of their mother so that they could bury her appropriately.
He said, “I have seen the man in our house a number of times. But he said she died in his house and he now took her corpse to Marina Bridge and abandoned it. We want him to produce that corpse so that we can bury her appropriately.”
The family said Akanbi might have dumped Kareem’s corpse in the lagoon as they could not find it on the Marine Bridge where Akanbi claimed he had dropped it. After contacting all relevant agencies in the state, the family said the corpse had yet to be found.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the case.
He said, “The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Yaba, for further investigation.”   Via. punch
