The vice presidential candidate of Aliance for Democracy,
AD, Akuchie Clinton Cliff was yesterday involved in an auto
crash on his way to the airport to attend the vice presidential debate
in Abuja.
Akuchie who narrowly escaped death in the crash had to cancel his
flight immediately, to seek medical attention.In another circumstance, another vice presidential
candidate, Hassanatu Hassan of the Citizens Popular Party, CPP, who was billed
to attend the same debate in Abuja was reportedly operated upon in an
undisclosed hospital, also yesterday.
