It turns out that Justin Bieber doesn’t really own that
private jet that he said he got for Christmas! “New jet for Christmas, and
she’s beautiful,” Justin posted on his social media, leading media and fans to
believe he bought a jet.
The language he used led many outlets to believe he’d
either purchased the plane outright or had entered into the kind of shared
ownership used by many ultra-wealthy flyers. It turns out that Justin just
chartered the airplane for a Christmas flight from Canada to New York City.
While the jet is for sale, he doesn’t actually own it, TMZ reports. The 2013 G4
jet is currently on sale for $63 million so maybe it could be his one day! For
what it’s worth, Forbes recently estimated that Justin earned $80 million last
year and is worth more than $200 million overall. He’s 20 years old. There may
be a private jet purchase in his future. But as of now, he’s just a renter.
