A Belgian terror cell
poised to carry out 'a second Paris' attack planned to abduct and behead a
senior policeman or judge, it was claimed today.
The radical Islamic group smashed in police raids yesterday
planned to film the horrific murder and circulate the footage online, bringing
the brutality of ISIS to the West, police sources said. It comes after anti-terror commandos shot dead two suspected
Islamic State jihadis and arrested a third at a property in the town of
Verviers.The cell was reportedly equipped with Belgian police
uniforms, four Kalashnikov machine guns, handguns and explosives.They were also planning to take a number of hostages by
seizing a bus, it was reported by Belgium’s RTL broadcaster. The dead suspects are believed to be Redouane Hagaoui, 22,
also known as Abu Khalid Al Maghribi, and Tarik Jadaoun, who has the alias Abu
Hamza Belgiki.
