Two Clevelanders accused of prostitution Thursday now face
criminal charges.
Mykelia M. Oates and Keith L. Jones, both 21, offered sexual
favors to undercover detectives Thursday inside a hotel on State Route 91.
Police discovered an online profile advertising transsexual
prostitution and arranged the meeting. Oates and Jones face charges of
soliciting prostitution, possession of criminal tools. Jones, whom police
referred to as a man, also faces a charge of possession of marijuana.
Oates is free on a $10,000 bond, police said. Jones remains
in custody on $3,500 bond. Both pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Oates and Jones are expected to appear on Nov. 13 in
Willoughby Municipal Court.
