Tyga was handcuffed by police on Monday after being pulled
over while shooting a rap music video in South Central Los Angeles.
The 24-year-old rapper and rumoured boyfriend of Kylie
Jenner was driving a Rolls-Royce in the tough neighborhood with several men in
the car while shooting the video for Make It Work.
A Los Angeles Police Department helicopter noticed the vehicle
driving recklessly and Los Angeles School Police officers made a traffic stop,
a police spokesman told Us Weekly
Tyga wore a black cap, black jeans, dark tee and thick golden chain while he
was being detained.
Six police cars responded and numerous officers took part in
the investigation.
An eyewitness told TMZ the traffic stop was for reckless driving and
police later confirmed that Tyga was cited for a traffic violation.
The rapper was eventually released but his bodyguard was arrested for
investigation of possession of a gun not registered in California, according to
TMZ.
