He likes to shock with his outrageous sense of humour, but
comedian Jimmy Carr reportedly caused offence on Wednesday when he took to the
stage at the Xperia Access Q Awards 2014.
The 42-year-old presented the Best Act In The World Today
award to rock band Kasabian but not before joking about the heartbreaking death
of Reeva Steenkamp.
The quip came just a day after sportsman was sentenced to five
years for shooting her dead in their home.
He also told the 200-strong audience: 'That's not the controversial bit. Here
it comes... I blame her. If she hadn't been in that disabled toilet none of
this would have happened.
‘It’s the f*****g Q Awards, come on,' he told a shocked
crowd. He later told The Mirror’s 3am after the show: ‘I think it went all
right. I’m going to go home and write some new jokes.’
